Like many kids, I started drawing as a baby, it’s just I never gave up! I was born in Bangalore to very cool parents. They've always been super supportive so I grew up surrounded by art material, glittery pens, comics, and fun kid books. Growing up in many cantonment areas of the Airforce meant celebrating many festivals, cultures, food with friends, I have many sweet memories to look back.
I got a BFA in Applied Art in 2010 and worked with renowned brands like Hogarth Worldwide (Apple Project), Amazon, EIH LTD., Thomson Digital as a Visual Designer in both print and digital. In 2019, I started making illustrations as a hobby, not knowing that I will fall in love with it so hard to make a career out of it and become a full-time illustrator. To learn more about the process I took the MATS-ICB course by Lilla Rogers and Zoe Tucker (2022). I’m also happy to run my online shop, where you’ll find illustrated stationery and merch.
I work from my home studio in Jamshedpur, surrounded by hills, forest, and a river, I count my blessing every day here! When I'm not drawing, you'll find me reading a book, sitting with my sketchbook, sipping tea or coffee, exploring native food and nutrition, or watching period/comedy/detective genres.
